Hundreds of Immigrant Youth Take Over Capitol Hill Urging a Dream Act Now

United We Dream Blog, Latest, Tools

Right now, 200 immigrant youth are taking over the offices of 10 members of Congress to demand that they commit to pass the Dream Act before they go home for the holidays this Friday. We need as much support as possible right now.

We only have until Friday to pass a Dream Act before Congress adjourns. It’s wrong for Congress to go home for the holidays while so many of us are forced to spend more time under the crushing fear of deportation. That’s why we’re putting it all on the line today and throughout this week as hundreds more immigrant youth come to DC.

We need as many people tuning into this action as possible – help us watching, sending tweets, and sharing.
