On Aug 25th, the Biden Administration and DHS just released a new rule on DACA. Judge Hanen has now stopped this new DACA rule from going into effect. Judge Hanen’s order makes it clear – DACA is dying. Democrats & Congress cannot wait – unless Biden and Congress take action this year, DACA will end on their watch. They must ACT NOW to permanently protect all immigrant youth, our families, and our communities.
DACA has never been enough for our immigrant communities by leaving out millions of people from the start & leaving the nearly 1 million DACA recipients in a state of limbo since the program was partially ended last year.. Any DACA recipient who loses their job or falls out of status is a direct result of the Biden Administration’s insufficient action.
While we fight for congress to take action on permanent protections for ALL, we demand Biden take BOLD action to protect DACA recipients before it’s too late.
