Send a Letter to DHS Secretary Mullin and USCIS Director Edlow: End DACA Delays Now!

Across the country, more and more DACA recipients are facing delays in getting their renewal applications processed!

Despite applying for their renewal well in advance, as directed by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), many DACA recipients are experiencing lapses in their work permits and protections due to processing delays. Without their DACA status renewed, they risk losing their jobs, losing access to their driver’s license, and risk detention and separation from their families and communities.

We are facing the most dangerous moment in DACA’s history as DHS continues to brazenly violate DACA’s protections, carrying out mass de-legalization efforts that target DACA recipients and weaken the DACA program. Since last year, DHS has detained over 343 DACA recipients and deported nearly 100 of them. This moment demands decisive action from all of us. Will you SEND A LETTER to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin and USCIS Acting Director Joseph Edlow to demand an end to the DACA renewal backlog? Demand USCIS take immediate action to process all renewals NOW!

DACA recipients are an integral part of our communities: they’re teachers, neighbors, nurses, and essential workers who power our cities and who contribute over $6.4 BILLION to our economy. DACA has allowed thousands of young people to pursue higher education, secure stable jobs, start businesses, buy homes, and contribute to industries facing critical labor shortages — from healthcare and education to technology and agriculture. Efforts to weaken the DACA program impact all of us — students, patients, workers — whose lives have been touched by DACA recipients.

We must stand united in demanding the safety and stability our neighbors need. SEND A LETTER to demand USCIS put an end to the DACA renewal backlog and process all renewals NOW!

This March marks 21 years of ICE CBP & DHS terrorizing our immigrant communities.

Ever since their creation, ICE and CBP have targeted, detained, abused and deported immigrants while separating loved ones and tearing apart communities. Donate 21 dollars to help us fight back against the 21 years of terror.
