The Dream & Promise Act Just passed in the House of Representative. Here’s What’s Next.

The Dream and Promise Act passed the House of Representatives! This is the first time since 2010 that legislation to protect immigrant communities without hurting them has passed a chamber of Congress. Let’s celebrate this historic milestone!
This milestone in our movement history is because of you. Immigrant youth, TPS and DED holders, and our allies have been organizing, visiting Members of Congress, sharing their stories, and taking action to get to this historic moment: a vision for the future that is about protecting our communities without harming them.
If Republicans are serious about protecting immigrant youth, TPS and DED holders, they will vote on the Dream and Promise Act in the Senate. The Senate is controlled by Republicans. Senators have a chance to support our communities by bringing the Dream and Promise Act to the Senate floor for a vote!
We refuse to use our safety as bargaining chips to build up the deportation force and put other communities at risk. We will keep fighting for permanent protection and reject any proposals to grow Trump’s deportation force and anti-immigrant agenda.
Dream and Promise today, Defund Hate tomorrow! Our work is not done: for the next few months, Congress will debate how much money to give to the Deportation Force. Demand that Congress defund ICE and CBP, the agencies that target our communities. Call *210-702-3059* to defund hate!
