On April 15, 2021, United We Dream celebrated our first ever Immigrant Day of Resilience — a day inspired by Trans Day of Remembrance, adapted to honor immigrant families & communities who persevere and embody practices of collective care in the face of anti-immigrant policies.
This day will serve to honor the resilience of immigrant communities who have been impacted by detention, deportation, police brutality, and COVID-19. We want to shower our community with love and honor our stories.
