Phoenix, AZ – What’s that you spotted on those Arizona and Texas sidewalks? Oh, that’s right! A reminder that voting is HOT! With only days left until Election Day, the young leaders of United We Dream are leaning into their cheeky side in a final reminder to their peers to get out and vote. This week, United We Dream launched hundreds of sidewalk memes across Phoenix and Houston to encourage voters, especially young voters, to find their polling locations and get to the polls now.

Michelle Ming, Political Director of United We Dream, said:

“Who said voting has to be boring? With just days left until Election Day, young people are going all in to get our peers out to vote, whether it’s doing viral dances on TikTok or launching sidewalk memes with reminders of where your nearest polling location is, we want to make voting as easy and fun as possible for our communities. While the stakes of this election couldn’t be higher, our generation has always stayed authentic to who we are and leaned into our community’s joy wherever possible. Young people across the country are stepping into their power and we’re helping them use it one meme at a time.”

This March marks 21 years of ICE CBP & DHS terrorizing our immigrant communities.

Ever since their creation, ICE and CBP have targeted, detained, abused and deported immigrants while separating loved ones and tearing apart communities. Donate 21 dollars to help us fight back against the 21 years of terror.
