Jorge Rondon Torrealba is a queer immigrant from Venezuela who has been detained for nearly a year in the Krome Detention Center in Florida, isolated from his home & community in New York.

The ICE director in Florida has allowed Jorge to remain imprisoned where he has faced sexual and gender based violence. So now we’re demanding that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Mayorkas use his power to free Jorge NOW!

Each day Jorge stays in detention he remains at risk for further abuse. If Jorge is deported, not only would he be completely uprooted from the only life he has known here in the United States since 3 years old, he will face violence for being openly gay in Venezuela.

You can support Jorge right now by sending a letter!

Commitment to Immigrant Justice Requires Action.

We are calling on President Biden and DHS Secretary Mayorkas to stop the expansion of the deportation machine by ending 287(g) agreements, closing immigration detention centers, and prohibiting further investment in dangerous surveillance tech.

Our Demands:

2,000,000+ Deportations and counting...

Since President Biden took office, he has called for over $23 billion to fund ICE and CBP’s deadly detention and deportation practices that have detained, deported, and expelled upwards of 2 million people.

This March marks 21 years of ICE CBP & DHS terrorizing our immigrant communities.

Ever since their creation, ICE and CBP have targeted, detained, abused and deported immigrants while separating loved ones and tearing apart communities. Donate 21 dollars to help us fight back against the 21 years of terror.
